Surgeons were carrying out complicated skull operations in medieval times, the remains of a body found at an archaeological dig show.

Bulgarian Archaeologists said Monday they finally unearthed the largest so far tomb from the civilisation of the Thracians, tribes that populated the Balkans since the Bronze Age till the early Middle Ages.
