pottery piccies I

These are some of the pieces from my ‘Inspired by History’ class:

gorgon kylix 4″t/8″d

Etruscan-style perfume bottle 5.5″t/3.75″d

mammiform box inspired by a medieval money box 4.5″t/5.5″d

I have a medieval rhenish-style jug we pit-fired last night yet to collect, and the aisan-inspired lidded pot just came out of bisque and I’ll glaze it next week.

Oh! And as for measurements of the pieces in this post, they are as follows:

blue watering can 6.25″t/ 11″ widest

celedon watering can 6.75″t/ 10.5″ widest

teapot 6″t/12″ widest
